“Allah has ninety-nine names, one hundred less one. Whoever memorizes them will enter Paradise.”

The names are selected as in Shaykh Ibn Uthaymin’s book al-Qawa‘id al-Muthla: 81 from the Quran and 18 from the Sunnah. Allah has more names than 99, and the hadith does not list them one by one.
